When we talk about Japanese sweets (Wagashi), most people only think of Mochi. In fact, similar to Western pastry, Wagashi refers to numerous type of Japanese desserts. In this course, we are going to focus on teaching one of the Wagashi called "Nerikiri". This lesson allows students to learn how to use simple ingredients and basic tools to re-create Nerikiri. Shredded autumn leaves, ripe persimmons, withering chrysanthemums, ginkgo leaves are turning yellow. Can you feel it? It's fall.
