We have adopted a hybrid approach blending face-to-face classes with online teaching conducted in the classroom. Kelvin will demonstrate and teach on a computer screen, and our local teacher will guide you to ensure you are doing the right things. Imagine Kelvin is here, actually, but this time is inside the laptop. Not much different, but overcome the barriers to learning!

What you will learn:

Piping royal icing filigree
Making run-out pieces
Assembling royal icing parts into a 3D clock

Venue: Blossom Cakes, 15th Floor, Morecrown Commercial Building, 108 Electric Road, Tin Hau, Hong Kong.
Open to all skill levels however students should already know how to cover styrofoam cake dummies with sugar paste as this will not be taught in the workshop.
The tuition fee includes the Certificate and all materials.
All tools and materials to be used in the classroom are provided.
Participants do not need to bring their laptops to class.
The end time is just a rough estimate and will vary depending on actual progress.

Instructor's Profile

Kelvin Chua is the award-winning founder of vinism sugarart based in Malaysia. He is an internationally recognized cake artist and master of royal icing and cake painting. He has won many awards and competitions and is now traveling worldwide to showcase his amazing skill to passionate students. Kelvin was also the winner of the Royal Icing Category in Cake Masters Magazine Award 2018. A hugely lovable personality and one of the few male international tutors, Kelvin is very popular with Blossom Cakes' students.

Kelvin works almost exclusively with royal icing and teaches students how to pipe in 2D and 3D decorations, create embroidery effects, stained glass effects, lace effects and many other exquisitely unique features in royal icing.
